颜光美,男,1957年4月生,博士,曾任中山大学副校长,广州国际企业孵化器总经理,华南新药创制中心主任。现任中山大学药理学教授, 博士生导师,国家杰出青年基金项目获得者 (1996年),享国务院特殊津贴,人事部“百千万人才工程”第一、二层次人才,广州市创业领军团队带头人,广州市开发区创业领军人才,药理国家级精品课程带头人,教育部规划教材《药理学》主编,国家药监局主办期刊《中国药物警戒》专家,《知识分子》专家委员会成员。主要研究方向为“重大疾病的治疗学与机制研究:神经保护、实体瘤的诱导分化与溶瘤病毒”。获得国家发明专利40余项,获得卫生部、卫生厅三等奖1项、中国医科院科技三等奖1项、国家教委科技进步二等奖1项、广东省高教局卫生厅科技二等奖1项。在这些基金的资助下,颜教授在肿瘤和神经领域的主流学术(SCI收录)杂志发表论文100余篇,其中通讯/共同通讯作者论文80余篇,第一作者论文10余篇,包括Nature 子刊Nature Biotechnology, Nature Communications(5篇), STTT,Science子刊Science Transcriptional Medicine, Cell子刊Cell Reports, PNAS(3篇), Oncogene, Molecular Therapy(2篇), Journal of Neuroscience等。参编外文脑肿瘤学领域专著2部。任高等教育出版社《药理学》(全国高等学校教材)主编。
